Louvre and Airflow Upgrade at 697 Collins Street, Melbourne

Project Overview

FlowMatrix successfully carried out a comprehensive upgrade at 697 Collins Street, Melbourne, for AG Coombs Servicing P/L. The project involved removing existing louvres and installing new high-quality components to enhance airflow, durability, and environmental protection.

The scope included the removal of old louvres, installation of new stainless steel water deflectors, support structures, and air intake louvres, along with the application of marine-grade sealant to ensure longevity and resilience against harsh elements.

The Workflow: From Arrival to Completion

Louvre Removal

Our team carefully removed the existing louvres, ensuring minimal disruption to the building’s operation.

Top Water Deflectors

New stainless steel water deflectors were installed at the top, providing effective water management and protection against environmental elements.

Support Structures

FRP fibreglass supports were installed at the bottom, offering corrosion resistance and structural stability.

Air Intake Louvres

High-quality SS 2021 air intake louvres were fitted to optimise airflow and improve ventilation efficiency.

Corner Covers & Sealing

FRP fibreglass corner covers were installed for added protection and aesthetic finishing. Marine-grade sealant was applied throughout to ensure water-tightness and durability.

Final Checks

After completing the installation, the system was de-isolated, and our team conducted thorough checks to confirm correct operation and airflow performance.
